All Bailey Counselors will be on summer break and unavailable from June 5th-July 31st. We will return to campus in August 2019. This website will be updated shortly thereafter. *If you are moving into the Bailey area this summer, please see below for the new student registration and orientation dates. You will need to come meet with a counselor and fill out a course selection sheet (choose classes) on the registration date before school starts.

Its that time of year again to choose your classes for next year. Below you will find course descriptions for classes offered at Bailey and important transition dates coming up soon. Please read the course descriptions and attend the Bailey Showcase on Feb. 12th to make sure you choose classes you really want to take. Your choices determine our staffing and class availability, so schedule change requests at the beginning of the new school year are often not possible. Jan 30th: Akins Showcase: Incoming 9th grade students & parent night at Akins HS 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Feb 6th: Parent/Student course advising session at Bailey with Akins counselors 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Feb 13th: Akins counselors meet with students (only) scheduled to attend Akins at Bailey to enter course contracts (science classes)
Feb 26th: Akins counselors meet with students who were absent on the 13th in the library. Students projected to attend Akins can review course contracts through math classes
Feb 4th: Bowie Showcase: Incoming 9th grade students & parent night at Bowie HS 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Feb 13th: Bowie counselors meet with students (only) scheduled to attend Bowie at Bailey to explain choice sheet and advise students (science classes)

*If there is an error on a student's schedule (ie. missing a class, wrong grade level), the student needs to stop by the counseling department to see the appropriate grade level counselor by Friday, 8/24.
Due to limited class availability, we are unable to do change of mind requests on schedules, but the student is welcome to get on a waiting list by signing up in the counseling department by Friday, 8/24.

Fall 2018 Important Dates:
- Bring proof of address, parent ID, student birth certificate, immunization records,
social security card, and if homeschooled bring proof of prior grade-level completion
